Mobile Homes For Rent

Crunching some numbers regarding the house on wheels

Evidently, Mobile homes are on the most dynamic housing innovations to have come across in the previous century. This special kind of a house was introduced as a cheaper alternative especially for those living in the rural US areas where the cost of buying a regularly constructed house was twice as much. The savings were, therefore, big and that was reason enough to invest in such structures and start dwelling. However, it was not long before issues started emerging on whether or not these kinds of a house were any good.

There is no denying the fact that mobile homes were popular. What lingered on was a feeling that soon became a reality. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t. That is precisely what happened here. Riddled with complications such as land tenancy, housing finances, general perception to name a few, these structures have lived mostly in the shadow of times. The houses, often movable hence the term mobile, can only accommodate a small number of people and will quickly become congested when furniture is added. These houses also have a very high maintenance cost due to which quite a lot of owners tend to avoid repairs and eventually end up with a house far less in value than the original price they may have paid for it.

Mobile homes, despite its unusual issues, do tend to offer a getaway for those seeking to relocate away from the cities. It is indeed a cheaper alternative but in no way should it be considered as a permanent solution. These tend to depreciate over time unlike other buildings and housing options and will lead to a loss. Lastly, the deal breaker tends to be the fact that these cannot be rested anywhere expect where the laws permit. Special zones are developed which are usually far off the cities and this can lead to an inconvenience to the end user as the commute to work and back would increase drastically, hence knocking off all the savings they may have initially saved.
